Re: rock dust & stopping the pine beetle forest devastation

Post by Hanalea, 08.05.2008, 01:04:

Dear Don Weaver,

In the early 80's I was introduced to your work with John Hamacher. I never
forgot it, and have shared it with many through the years, always knowing that so many trees (and our lives!) could be saved by boosting the trees' immunity with re-mineralization.

You surely know about the pine beetle devastation already, and perhaps you already have reached out to the people, involved, to share what you know. But, I just have to write you: Recently I read the AP article on the horrific destruction of Canadian, and now American, forests by the mountain pine beetle. I saw that destruction myself when in Canada 2 or 3 years ago, and since then have read that "they" associate the flourishing of the beetle with global warming. Now this article speaks to even more terrible effects from the massive dying wood. http://enews.earthlink.net/article/...40_3ca6_1552620080423-1572713101

I just wonder: if those forests with trees still living were rock-dusted, would the trees be able to fight back, and stop the progression of the beetles? I wonder if, in addition to the weather changes, the soils have become mineral-depleted as on the entire earth, thus giving the beetles all the advantages over immune-deficient trees.

The only way for deep, natural remediation, along the way to reversing global warming, is through healing -- in this case, healing the earth where the trees grow, and thus the trees.

You said in your Bio: "Let me know if I might assist you in your/our work for
the health and regeneration of humanity and the Earth." If you have not already contacted the Canadian (and American) "experts," would you do so? They simply MUST know what you know, and it seems you and your associates are the best ones to get the message across to them -- and to get the rock-dusting to happen ASAP. (Tell me this is possible!)

If there is more that I can do, please let me know.

Thank you so much for your wonderful work,

PC soil meter? Paramagnetism.

Post by Nike, 26.04.2008, 01:49:

I just reread Phil Callahan`s "Paramagnetism". A very interesting book, and a lot of very interesting theories about rock dust. Does anyone know where one could buy the PC soil meter Callahan uses? I`ve tried to contact Callahan through his publisher ACRES USA, but have gotten no answer.

I would be interested in giving paramagnetism a closer look. I feel it couldgive an answer to the question why rock dust seems to be a lot more than just the sum of the nutrients it contains. I did try to do the "radish"- experiment Callahan proposes in the book, but I must say I didn`t get the results I was waiting for. Maybe I`ll do it again; might have been some lack on my part last time as well.

rock dust ??

Reply from Kay'aleya, 17.04.2008, 17:35:

Hi Woodrow,

Please take a look at the Remineralization Primer located on the left hand menu of our homepage. Perhaps you would like specifically to read the Rock Dust Primer whose web address I will offer here:

http://remineralize.org/joomla/index.php/A-Rock-Dust-Primer

Also if you'd like to find a source of rockdust near you, please try the Resource section of the website, also located in that left hand menu on the homepage or at this web address:

http://remineralize.org/joomla/index.php/Mineral-Products/

There you will be able to search by region in the United States for the closest and most appropriate source of rockdust for retail in your area. You will also find plenty of listings that include web addresses and links so that you can research specifically what each of the businesses offer.

Let us know if you have any further inquiries.

We would be delighted to hear and publish any testimonials with high resolution photos of your progress!

Good luck!

Obesity epidemic

Reply from holisticthug, 14.04.2008, 23:08:

It absolutely has do to with the fact that people are eating empty food, that causes major swings in blood sugar, and fails to support true satiety. I started drinking an alkaline mineral mixture of black strap molasses, lime water, and organic kelp, and not only is my blood sugar stabilizing but I do not get ravenously hungry an hour after a meal like I used to. I eat a "good" diet but unless the foods are high brix I will always stay hungry. So the drink compensates for that. The obesity problem is obvious, at least in the Southeast. There is no doubt in my mind that lack of minerals plays a major role.
The hypothesis to be tested is: people keep eating food that lacks trace elements because their body won't signal "full" until the trace elements reach a certain level.

Thus remineralisation would mitigate obesity problem, and possibly other diseases such as diabetes (which I have myself).
