Dear Don Weaver,
In the early 80's I was introduced to your work with John Hamacher. I never
forgot it, and have shared it with many through the years, always knowing that so many trees (and our lives!) could be saved by boosting the trees' immunity with re-mineralization.
You surely know about the pine beetle devastation already, and perhaps you already have reached out to the people, involved, to share what you know. But, I just have to write you: Recently I read the AP article on the horrific destruction of Canadian, and now American, forests by the mountain pine beetle. I saw that destruction myself when in Canada 2 or 3 years ago, and since then have read that "they" associate the flourishing of the beetle with global warming. Now this article speaks to even more terrible effects from the massive dying wood. http://enews.earthlink.net/article/...40_3ca6_1552620080423-1572713101
I just wonder: if those forests with trees still living were rock-dusted, would the trees be able to fight back, and stop the progression of the beetles? I wonder if, in addition to the weather changes, the soils have become mineral-depleted as on the entire earth, thus giving the beetles all the advantages over immune-deficient trees.
The only way for deep, natural remediation, along the way to reversing global warming, is through healing -- in this case, healing the earth where the trees grow, and thus the trees.
You said in your Bio: "Let me know if I might assist you in your/our work for
the health and regeneration of humanity and the Earth." If you have not already contacted the Canadian (and American) "experts," would you do so? They simply MUST know what you know, and it seems you and your associates are the best ones to get the message across to them -- and to get the rock-dusting to happen ASAP. (Tell me this is possible!)
If there is more that I can do, please let me know.
Thank you so much for your wonderful work,
Hanalea |
